Served 1946-1972 as Hardin County Veterans Service Office. President, Kenton City Council 1950-1951. One of the founders of Hardin County Veterans Memorial Park, member of Post 198 American Legion, Post 3333 Veterans of Foreign Wars, Lodge #157 Elks.

Hogan Elevator at Grant, Ohio, 1933-1974. Was member of local PTA for over 20 years - Life member of Ohio Congress of PTA and Northwest District Director of PTA
- 1948 was a member of Hardin County O.S.U. Alumni Club - served as president of local Tuberculosis Association, member of American legion Auxiliary #198 and V.F.W. Auxiliary 3333
